Most ferries to Karimunjawa depart between 7 AM and 9 AM. I highly recommend departing from Yogyakarta at 11:00 PM the night before. This gives us plenty of time for a comfortable drive and a short break before the port opens.
2. Will you drop me off directly at the Kartini Harbor?
Yes! I will drop you off exactly at the entrance of Kartini Port (Pelabuhan Kartini) in Jepara, so you don’t have to walk far with your luggage to the ticket locket.
3. Can we stop for breakfast before the ferry departs?
Absolutely. Since we usually arrive in Jepara early in the morning (around 4:30 – 5:00 AM), I can take you to a local spot for breakfast or a quick coffee before you board the boat.
4. What if the ferry is canceled due to weather?
Weather in the Java Sea can be unpredictable. If the ferry is canceled, I can assist you in finding a hotel in Jepara or discuss an alternative destination like Semarang or returning to Yogyakarta. Your flexibility and safety are my priorities.
