03:30 AM: I’ll pick you up at your hotel in Yogyakarta. You can catch a little more sleep in the back seat while I handle the dark roads.
- 04:30 AM: We arrive at the Borobudur area. I will drop you off as close as possible to the entrance and explain exactly where I’ll be waiting for you when you’re done.
- 05:00 AM – 08:30 AM: You enjoy the sunrise. There’s no rush—I’ll be waiting for you at the parking area whenever you are ready.
- 09:00 AM: Hungry? I can take you to a local “Warung” for some authentic Gudeg or Kupat Tahu, or a nice cafe with a view of the rice fields.
10:30 AM: We head back to your hotel, or if you still have energy, we can visit the Chicken Church or Mendut Temple on the way back.
